In this paper, nanoscale RuO2 was prepared by "Pechini"sol-gel technique. Titanium and silicon, whose solid solutabilities are different, were selected to be the additive elements. The phase structures, microstructures, morphologies, sizes and the processes of phase transition of the Ru-based oxide were studied by XRD,TEM,DTA,TG,DSC, etc. The effect of heating temperature and time on the size and phase transition for the three systems were discussed in detail. The factors of the thermodynamics , kinetics of phase transition and kinetics of crystal growth were analyzed thoroughly .The data of kinetic parameters such as the Avrami constant, the activation energies for both phase transition and crystal growth were measured. The mechanism of phase transition from amorphous to crystalline and the mechanism of crystal growth were discussed. The electrochemical properties were investigated for Ru-based oxide anode materials with different compositions of hO2 and Si02 prepared from different heat treatment conditions. The relations between micro-structures and electrochemical properties were suggested.
