As mineral resources are disappearing and can not be regenerated, the useable mineral resources become less and less, more and more difficulties are presented in mining, also the society asks for more and more rigorous conditions to personal safety and property safety. So, on the one hand, mining enterprises should retrieve as many mineral resources as possible, and on the other hand, must ensure that the security of person and property shall not be threaten by mining. This thesis makes a systematic research and design for safely stopping of water proofing safety pillar under the ground water aquifer in Kangjiawan lead-zinc mine of Shuikoushan Mineral Bureau. And it has been applied to the production. Meanwhile, it has also brought out good results. The detailed content states as following:First, make an overall investigation and study to hydrogeology and engineering geology of the water proofing pillar: there lists an aquifuge and relative impermeable layer of more than 140 meters between the aquifer and the deposit. Suppose to recover with subside method, calculate the possible growth height of water conducted zone that caused by mining, the outcome indicates the water conducted zone will not connect the aquifer.Second, make a study on the feasibility of mining water proofing pillar. After calculating the depth of the stopping sloping zone and safety mining, according to the Hungarian relative impermeable layer theory and experiences on coal mine below the water mass, it can be concluded that the local geology structure will not pose a threat to the above safety.Third, design and adopt an optimum mining method------mechanized upward slicingfilling method. This method shows higher mechanized degree, less dilution and less loss, above all, shorter exposed time of mined area, higher quality of backfilling and most suitable for mining below the water mass.Fourth, after effect analysis on testing stope, obtain that: on the condition of reasonable structural parameters and stopping technology, both the economic effect and the safety can be guaranteed.
