Concave print golden powder is a kind of the important metal?pigment, and it is a flake of the metal powder. The concave print golden powder has pigment properties after it is modificated. The production equipment, process and surface modification of the concave print golden powder have been investigated in this paper according to the properties and used conditions of the concave print golden powder.Different grade ball mill equipment has been selected by means of comparison of the ball milling results at the same conditions with the different scales and ball mill structures on the basis of the ball mill structures and processing principle.Different grade ball mill parameters have been decided by orthogonal experiments with the factors of the ball diameters, rate of ball and powder, milling rotational speed and ball milling time and the check index of bulk specific gravity, water surface covering power, rate of surface area, brighter and the extent of flake.Surface morphologies, gravity and rate of surface area of theconcave printing golden powder have been studied by SEM, Accupy 1300 and ASAP 2000. Effects of screening and the air grading on the properties of the golden powder show that the screening is used in the ball milling process, and the air grading used in the product grading.Effects of the different assistants on the beginning oxidation temperature of the powder have been investigated. The results show that the composite assistant is much better than that of the signal assistant. Good comprehensive properties of the golden powder can be obtained by using No. 2 composite assistant. The measurement of the sample properties shows that the property index is close to or equal to that of the foreign same products.
