To lower the cost of surfactant flooding and provide a new way to utilize superfluous naphthalene of the cracking of diesel oil, a series of long-chain alkylnaphthalene sodium sulfonates are synthesized in this dissertation, which may be illustrated by the following general formula:(R? C&HI3, CgHiyi CloHhi* C|2H25> 2X C&H|3>The final products are obtained by alkylation - sulfonation two-step method. In the first step, alkylnaphthalene intermediate compounds are obtained by the alkylation reaction of naphthalene with 1 -bromohexane catalyzed by Aids and characterized by GC, GC/MS and NMR. The influential factors on the alkylation reaction are also studied and the optimum conditions are obtained, which for mono-alkylnaphthalene are: naphthalene/olefin (mol ratio)=2:l, reaction temperature: 80癈, reaction time Ih, and for di-alkylnaphthalene are: naphthalene/olefin (mol ratio)=l:l, reaction temperature: 80癈, reaction time 6h. The amount of AlCb catalyst was about 10% of that of 1 -bromoalkane for each reaction. Under the optimum conditions, the purity of each alkylnaphthalene is over 98%.In the second step, a new method was applied to separate the sulfonic products and alkylnaphthalene-monosulfoacid and alkylnaphthalene-disulfoacid are successfully gained. And 12 kinds of alkylnaphthalene sodium sulfonates are obtained and the purities determined by HPLC and two-phase titration method are over 95%.The alkylation reaction of naphthalene is also studied using AbOa supported H Y zeolite catalyst, which is a kind of environmental friendly and industrial promising catalyst. It was found that under the conditions of the content of HY in the range of 50%-70%, the reaction temperature 130癈, pressurelMpa, VHSV 6-8mL/h ?gcat, the conversion of olefin reach to 85% and the selectivity of alkylnaphthalene is 100%. l%-3% rare earth modified catalystincreased the catalytic activity and stability.Interfacial tensions of surfactants/alkali and crude oil were tested by XZD-III spinning drop tension meter. The effects of concentrations, alkalinity and structures of surfactants on interfacial tensions were discussed. It can be concluded from a large number of performance tests that most of these products have the excellent activity so that the ultralow interfacial tension can be achieved in the wider concentration and alkalinity range by adding other kinds of surfactants into the solution of products.
