Cellulose fibers based on natural cellulose have many excellent properties and utilities, and the requirement of cellulose fibers goes up. In nowadays, The traditional cellulose fibers producing technology, rayon technology, pollutes environment heavily, so the developing of cellulose fiber industry is limited. In this paper, a new NaOH wet spinning technology was studieti. The soft wood by steam explosion treatment which has high efficiency and no pollution can dissolve in the aq.NaOH directly, so a good spinning solution was gained. Then the morphology solubility film-forming and silk-forming of the soft wood were studied, and a new aq. alkali-soluble cellulose/NaOH solution wet spinning technology was established.The alkali solution concentration and steam explosion process condition were optimized by testing the solubility of soft cellulose after steam explosion before and after treatment towards aq.NaOH with various concentration. It was concluded that the soft cellulose can dissolve in the 9% aq.NaOH solution completely under the condition of explosion pressure 3.0Mpa and explosion time 60s. At the same time, the influence of sweller-thiourea on the new aq. alkali soluble cellulose/NaOH solution was studied in this paper. The dissolving phenomena and the steam explosion mechanism of soft cellulose were discussed. Based on these facts, the properties of films regenerated from new aq. alkali soluble cellulose/NaOH solution with sulfuric acid as coagulator were studied. The structure and morphology of the film was characterized by SEM, and also the influence of coagulator concentration on the film property was studied. Then the NEW fibers on a medical pinhead and a small extruding machine were prepared. It was concluded that rising the spinning velocity and coagulator concentration properly can improve the properties of the fibers, and furthermore, established the preliminary spinning technological process.
