Hydrometallurgy Of Zinc Solid-liquid Separation Theoretical Analysis And Application

The paper has analyzed and introduced the theory and application of liquid-solid separation in zinc hydrometallurgy from all sides. It started with the process of zinc hydrometallurgy and summarized the trait of liquid-solid separation in zinc hydrometallurgy. The properties of the liquid,so lid(grain) and pulp have been detailedly analyzed in liquid-solid separation. The gravitational settling, flocculating and condensation,the theory of filtering,flushing and dewatering ,the property of medium have been studied in detail also. On the basis of those , the application studies have been researched. The results showed that the choice of filtering medium and application were the core in the process of liquid-solid separation in zinc hydrometallurgy. It is the key for the filtering and settling concentration equipmentin to be large-scale and roboticized in liquid-solid separation. It is an important for the equipment to become large-scale, high efficiency, save energy and automation and to improve the technique in zinc hydrometallurgy and the equipment level .
