With the miniaturization of electronic product, SMT has become more and more popular in electronic industry. We have to deal with two key technologies in the research and development of SMT devices. One is the displacement calculation using machine vision, the other is precise motion control. This paper introduce Omron machine vision sensor to provide machine vision displacement calculation, and improve on the motion control card, step motor driver and signal input card to provide precise motion control. Blow is the main contents this paper worked with:1. Using Omron machine vision inspector to provide feedback for motion control.2. Improve on current motion control card, input phase signal into control chip to enhance the precision of origin return, control chip will stop generate pulses only when the ORG signal and phase signal is available at the same time.3. Take out phase signal from current step motor driver. Cooperate with motion control card to enhance the precision of origin return.4. Provide interrupt response and interrupt priority distribute function for signal input card.5. Write device drive for motion control card on Linux, and mount it in kernel mode, improve the system's flexibility and real time responsibility.6. Write control software for stencil printer in Linux.7. Provide device separate test, fault diagnose, system self resume and some other functions to improve the stability, reliability and automatic control intelligence of stencil printer.
