Toluene sulfonic acid was used as catalyst for the preparation of polyethyleneglycol diacrylate . Various factors which effect the ester fication,such as solvent and water carrier agent,catalyst content,inhibitor content,mole ratio of alcohol to acrylic acid,reaction time etc., had been discussed. The yield was about 98% in determinated optimum conditions : The solvent content of highest yield was 5ml and cyclohexane was 15ml,the ratio of alcohol to acrylic acid was 1: 3, the hibitor the optimum content was 0.5 %, the solvent content of highest yield was 5ml and hexane was 15ml, the reaction time is 7hAcrylic acid (AA)-based super absorbent interpenetrated with poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate was prepared by inverse-emulsion polymerization. Polymerization conditions such as amount of crosslinking agent,initator,reaction temperature, oligom- ers dropping time and stir speed on the performance of the absorbent were studied.The optimum conditions was gained. Distributing of particle semidiameter is very narrow.Acrylic acid (AA)-based superabsorbent interpenetrated with poly(ethylene glycol) (400) diacrylate and poly(ethylene glycol) (600) diacrylate was prepared by inverse emulsion polymerization. Simultaneity a core-shell Acrylic acid (AA)-based superabsorbent having (i) a core of AA-based polymer interpenetrated with PEGDA600 diacrylate (ii)and a shell of AA-based polymer interpenetrated with PEGDA600 diacrylate was prepared. The saturated of absorbency of a core-shell absorbent was more stronger than that of polymer interpenetrated with PEGDA400 or PEGDA600. Especially, absorbency velocity is obvious increasable.
