The electrochemical polymerization of PAn and PODB is carried out systematically, the molecular structures are determined,and the electronic conductivity and electroluminescent peculiarity of PAn and PODB are measured in this paper.According to the analyses of UV/Vis and IR spectrum of PAn film, the author has determined the film is in a semi-oxidation state. To keep the monomer concentration unchanged and change the concentration of electrolyte ( H2SO4 ), or to keep the concentration of electrolyte unchanged and change the monomer concentration, we can prepare different PAn films, and study the tendency of the conductivity of the films.The PAn film electro polymerized on ITO (In-SOa) can be used as electroluminescent material directly for a light-emitting diode, ITO as the anode and Pt as the cathode, and we have studied the electroluminescent ability of the PLED in the O.lmol/L solution of LiClO4/CH3CN.According to the analyses of UV/Vis and IR spectrum of POPD films, the author has testified that POPD films have different molecular structures when they are electro polymerized under different monomer concentration. If the concentration is lower, the POPD film prepared shows a bridge structure. But if the concentration is higher, the POPD film prepared assumes chain structure.Furthermore, we have testified the conclusion about the molecular structure of POPD according to the different conductivity of POPD films prepared under different conditions. We have disclosed the reason why the two kinds of POPD films have so apparent difference in conductivity by looking into the surface of POPD films through SEM.The POPD films electro polymerized on ITO can be used aselectroluminescent material directly for two light-emitting diodes, ITO as the anode and Pt as the cathode, and we have studied the electroluminescent ability of the PLEDs in the solution of LiClCVCHaCN whose concentration is 0.1mol/L.Dongjiang Yang(Materials science) Directed by Prof. Wenyuan Zhao...
