In this paper, an algorithm of Three-Dimensional braided composites image processing based on wavelet transform and mathematics morphology is presented, with the combination of wavelet directivity check out technology and small-scale mathematical morphology. Experiments indicate that the traditional methods of edge detection, the local max of a wavelet transform and mathematical morphology are not ideal because of the composite's texture feature. Edge detection on composite image is carried out with the algorithm. It is indicated that the calculation is effective. Position at the edge can be accurately located, the noise can be inhibited at certain extent,, and the effect of edge detection is obvious. This image of edge is adapted to the parameter testing of Three-Dimensional braided composites.In this paper, presents a new measuring method of the braiding angle of composites for the edge image with computer based on curve fitting theory. The method can suppress noise and absolve the problem of the point of edge is not continue. We can measure stitch through located the acme. The results of experiments have proved the method to be correct and effective.
