The current situation about Foundry Expert System in domestic and international have been told in this paper. The distance between domestic and international about the system have been pointed out. The purpose and the meaning about the system in casting enterprise have been analyzed.Through the investigation in more foundry in Yunnan province, the existing problem in casting enterprise is processing quality controlling and management have been pointed out. The author point out that Foundry Processing Quality Control And Management Expert System is a good method in advancing science and management.According to software engineering, this paper have analyzed the require, overall design and detail design about Foundry Processing Quality Control And Management Expert System link to actual process of casting. In the second branch, control chart have been used mainly. By statistics and analysis, data in casting process is out of standard or not can be decided exactly and quickly in usual. If data is out ofstandard , system can alarm in sound and notify automatically. Manager and Engineer could analyze the problem of defects according to the knowledge of the first branch. Diagnosis Theory with Two Kinds of Quality has been used firstly in the system. The system has ability to manage equipment , material, processing document and model in casting process. The end, the system have been tested with actual data coming from casting process.
