This paper describes the structural characteristics, the standard designs, the technical process and the mechanical properties of sandwich constructions composite materials and it's application in aircraft. The selection of material, typical the structural designs, the mechanical property and the forming pressure of Unmanned Aircraft sandwich composite material have been studied in this paper. It has analysed and discussed the flexural properties of honeycomb sandwich plate delamination under bending loads in detail. And then the mechanical properties of the laminate panel are studied which are compared with honeycomb sandwich panel.After mechanical and process properties testing,the results indicated that: (1) The film resin can make the properties good in climbing drum peer strength of sandwich constructions composite, the little effects of the film resin on other mechanical properties have been given; (2)The sandwich composite has the better mechanical properties at central symmetry layer than asymmetric layer; (3) Through the study of the different pressure of the sandwich composite, the result is obtained that the edgewise properties increases, the flexural properties decreases with the pressure increase from 0.2Mpa to 0.5Mpa; (4) At the sameness extend layer, the mechanical properties of the laminate is bigger than that of the honeycomb sandwich panel; (5) Through the studies on honeycomb sandwich plate delamination under three-point bending tests.It is found that the flexural strength decreases with the area of delamination increases.Through the studies of its forming process and performance of Nomexsandwich constructions composite, It not only provides the perfotmance data and test basis for the normal usage of sandwich constructions but also provides the experiences that was to be accumulated in Aircraft.
