Firstly, Choosing topic earnestly and arguing carefully on the base of understanding the theories of structural chemistry. Secondly, transforming the theories of structural chemistry into mathematic model. Researching and discussing the application of multimedia technology in structural chemistry. Using 3D Max 4.0 to do stereogram and three-dimensional animation, using Photoshop 6.0 to do the picture of background, button, icon, Using Cool Edit Pro 2.0 to record commentary. Using object-oriented multimedia development tool-Visual Basic 6.0 to compose picture, image, animation text, sound. Finally, using Inno Setup 3 to encapsulate software, making installation procedure. Using Founder Author Tool 6.0 to do some network software. Introducing me software's primary function, design idea, development tool, key technique, method of application feature and effect.The software deal with the animate demonstration of abstract concept and process, protracting image, simulating of apparatus and experiment , and so on . Consisting of the protracting graph of hydrogen-like atom's angle distributing, computer simulation of the symmetry of molecular orbital and chemical reaction mechanism, showing the molecular point group and symmetry element, computer simulation of molecular vibration, Bravias's crystal lattice and their transforming, extracting of plane periodic lattice, extracting of solid periodic lattice, close packing of isometrical pellet and the structure of simple mental substance, close packing of unequal pellet and crystal structure of representative ionic crystal, Computer Simulation of Phase Analysis by X-ray Diffraction.This software take full advantage of the multimedia technique , especially the three-dimensional animation, to open out the abundant meanings and scientific theories in structural chemistry by using lush graphical interfaces, lifelike animation, lifesome sound effects, alluring exhibitive technique, translate bald contents and nonobjective theories into visual, direct-viewing, lively demonstration, change static and plane teaching method into dynamic and three-dimensional teaching process with attraction and infection, realize visual and enlightened teaching. Software have direct-viewing and friendly graphic interactive interface, uniform style. It offer dynamic navigation of teaching content, have strong interactivity and adaptability, manipulate simply.
