Factors such as emulsion which is the main component of the basal body, the interfacial connection of non-woven fabric and basal body, the variety and thickness of non-woven fabric, the latex content of non-woven fabric composite and the gel system which effect the transverse mechanical property of non-woven fabric composite were studied.The best formulation of emulsion was obtained. Modifying the emulsion through different polymeric methods, different functional monomers and their dosage and different technics of polymerization.Using UV photo-grafting treatment of PET non-woven fabric to increase the property of the interfacial connection of non-woven fabric and basal body. Factors such as monomer, photo-initiator and solvent in process of UV photo-grafting treatment of PET non-woven fabric which effect the interfacial connecting of PET non-woven fabric and basal body. And find out the best condition of treatment by using orthogonal test.The result which was gained through experiments shows that the transverse tensile brute force of short-fiber non-woven fabric composite is higher than that of long-fiber non-woven fabric composite, but the transverse tearing brute force is lower than that of long-fiber non-woven fabric composite when the thickness of two kind of non-woven fabric composite are the same.Ascertaining the gel system by experiments and researching whose effect to the transverse mechanical property of non-woven fabric composite. The results show that the transverse mechanical property of non-woven fabric composite is linear with the thickness of non-woven fabric when using gel system and the best latex content of the non-woven fabric composite is 20%-24%.
