As the industry of our country develops quickly, the treatment of surfacewater and waste water is taken seriously.The polyferric sulphate is a high-tech inorganic high molecular flocculant, it can be used as purifying agent and treating agent. It is the best choice for the treatment of water, It has solid and liquid types. Sloid is light yellow powder, liquid is brown red. It can be used in the treatment of domestic water, industry water, industrial liquid waste, and town sewage and slurry water.The paper studies the treatment of oily waste water in Xi'an Daikin Qing'an compressor Co., ltd. Firstly, preparation of polyferric sulphate with waste iron filings, waste sulfurric acid and air. Secondly, coagulation treatment with CoCl2 and PFS. Thirdly, adsorption with coal cinder and active charcoal. The result is that the oily waste water is up to the first level water quality standard. The mechanism" and characteristics of PFS are analysed. The effects of demulsification by PFS, PAC and PAS as demulsifying agents are compared. PFS has many characteristics: fast settle, fine effect, stable, nontoxic and harmless. The application PH is 4-11,best is 6~8. It has not aluminum pollution, is green agent. The results show that PFS is a new type and highly efficient demulsifying agent and it is worth spreading extensively. These results will be helpful to treat the waste emulsion economically and efficiently to achieve the unity of the economic benefit, the social benefit and the environmental benefit. At the same time it provides important scientific basic for engineering design.The thesis is divided intoTchapters, main content is:Chapter 1,synthetic tests of polyferric sulphate . When the molar ratio of sulfuric acid to ferrous ion is in the range of 0.20-0.40 the alkalinity degree of the final product will increase with decrease of sulfuric acid dosage.Chapter 2, synthetic tests of polyferric sulphate by orthogonal experiment are carried out in this Paper, it gives the best technology parameters for synthesis of polyferric sulphate.Chapter 3,the flocculation experiments of polyferric sulphate by orthogonal experiment .The flocculation efficiency has been obtained by the experimental studies of flocculation efficiency of PFS. it gives the best technology parameters for treating the oily waste water by experiments.In chapter 4: the flocculation mechanism of PFS was analysed.In chapter 5:the synthetic test of polyaluminium sulfate by orthogonal experiment.In chapter6: The effects of demulsification by PFS, PAC and PAS as demulsifying agents are compared.Chapter 7 gives conclusion.
