Energy is one of the three pillars of modern civilization. Which restrict the development of economy science technology .Today the energy consumes is increasing all of the world, but because of the low utilization ratio and the waste, the supply of energy is in short supply. Energy face the danger of exhausted, the petrol and coal consuming brought the life circumstance more and more severe pollution. So exploit new and neat energy and tidy energy resources, high efficiency use energy resources, Energy storage and regeneration become the national economy and the people's living problem, all over the world. Which accelerate the rising and rapid development of energy storage study.Energy storage materials use phase change to store solar energy, terrestrial heat energy and after heat energy and release energy under proper condition. It has broad apply prospect in industry, agriculture, textile, building etc.This study begin in Europe and united states in 70th, and begin in the 80th in our country. All of the world the extensive study of salt with water etc as phase change storage energy materials is in progress and try to use as building, materials. But this material has disadvantage in heat storage such as high super cooling degree, phase separation etc during the phase transition and can not be widely used. Solid-liquid phase transition materials such as fat-acid, paraffin wax etc have the advantage of total melt, low super cooling no phase separation and low price. They have widely use prospect. All of the world has studied it and try to transition to practice use. phase change materials (PCMs) as the solid-solid phase change material is a new type of energy storage material ,It overcome the disadvantage of the past materials. They have the advantage of low temperature, high enthalpy low super cooling degree no phase separation long tine use etc. Which gain the applause of people, since the 90th century all over the world, which pick up the rise and development of the study of energy storage. How to develop new energy and increase the utilization ratio are becoming theimportant problems. Considering the principle of selecting energy storage materials, phase change materials (PCMs) have been widely studied. Particularly, the solid-solid phase materials are attached to increasing importance because of many advantages such as low temperature, high enthalpies, low supercooling degree and so on during solid-solid phase transition. They also offer many other advantages of small change in volume and no phase separation, which make them suitable for heat storage. We have studied Alkylammonium tetrachlorometallates (II) (CnH2n+1)2MCl4 (CnMX) and their binary system which supply theory bases for suitable energy storage materials ; We have drawn their binary system phase change diagrams.Which provide valuable reference for practical usage. And studied their dynamic properties . Discussed the solid-solid energy change and the structure.In the first part, a series of CnMnCl, CnZnCl and their binary system weresynthesized, element analysis and IR spectra were used to characterize them. The structure and mechanism of solid to solid transition are analyzed in order tounderstand the difference of the thermal parameter of different CnMnCldeeply.In the second part, differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) method was used to study the energy storage properties of pure materials and their binarysystem. The calorimetric results show that CnMnCl and their binary system havegood properties in heat storage such as high enthalpies, no volatility, low supercooling degree and long time usage ,the results also show that their binary system have wide range of phase transition temperatures. Which are lower than the pure materials and more suitable for low temperature heat storage.In the third part, the experimental phase diagrams of binary system C12MnCl/C14MnCl , C12MnCl/C16MnCl and CnZnCl/C18ZnCl were established at room temperature by three techniques: DSC method to obtain the relationship materials' percent and tra...
