A HPLC fingerprint spectrum of tea polyphenols (TP) intravenous injection is developed and the raultivariate statistical analysis is applied on the material , intermediate and injection itself of TP intravenous injection for the first time in this article. The method converts fingerprint spectrum into intuitionistic tables and figs, which can intelligentize the spectrum. The results show that the relative retention time can be applied to qualify, and corresponding relative peak area percentage can be applied to distinguish different sample from different preparations and batches after cluster analysis and followed discriminant analysis. A spectrometry method is also developed for the determination of tea polyphenols from TP intravenous injection and for its quality control. In this method , spectrometry is used at the wavelength of 490nm to determine the absorbance of the complex of the TP and A13+ in alkaline condition. The regression equation is A =32. 103C+ 0. 0033 with a good linearity (r=0. 9996) between the absorbance and concentration and the average recovery is 99. 95%. The method is applied to the determination of 18 different samples from 3 different batches. These two above-mentioned methods in this article are very simple and reliable, easy to operate, suitable for the quality control of TP injection.
