The paper investigates optimization automatic combination stacking of steel roll for the bell-type annealing process of Shanghai BaoSteel Yichang Sheet Co. Lit. Firstly, based on review of the research reference, an improved genetic algorithm with dynamic regulation parameters is proposed by introducing the variance and expectation of individual adaptive value to describe concentration-dissipation degree of population for overcoming the disadvantage of local optimum and slower convergence speed of general genetic algorithms. Secondly, for overcoming the disadvantage of slower convergence speed and the difficulty in the complex simulation optimization on-line of general genetic algorithms, an improved genetic algorithm is proposed by introducing ordinal optimization strategy and probability sampling idea. Lastly, the improved algorithm proposed in this paper is applied into the optimized automatic combination stacking of steel roll in the bell-type annealing process. The paper also has designed and developed the software of the optimization automatic combination stacking. The practice application shows that the unproved algorithm gains good effect.
