In this paper, the core-shell structure emulsion polymer was synthesized with semi-continuous seeded emulsion monomer methods. Kinetics of polymerization reaction system were deeply studied. The final composite structure of polymer particles was predicated by modified Sunderberg thermodynamics theory and its conformation was carried through by validate transmission electron microscope (TEM). It was an important point that the possessing different core-shell structure latexes were designed by changing copolymerization system glass transition temperature and some influence factors of emulsion adhesion and film properties were discussed. The main contents and results are as follows.The first, the composite parts and composite technology of the polyacrylate emulsion polymerization were confirmed .The effects of the different polymerization methods and reaction temperature on emulsion properties were investigated in detail. The best composite conditions of core-shell emulsion polymerization were that the temperature was 80# and using seeded emulsion polymerization methods.The second, the influences of core-shell emulsion polymerization were discussed. The corresponding emulsifiers amount of interface tension point and the critical micelle concentration (CMC) of seeded emulsion were figured out. The best ratio and amount of emulsifier were decided in the seeded polymerization phase and shelled polymerization phase. The influences of functional monomer, initiator and aqueous phase ratio on film-forming properties, viscous properties and film strength were reseached.Finally, thermodynamics analysis and the least interface free energy theory were carried through to forecast composite latex structure and conformation.Its conformation was vertified by validate transmission electron microscope (TEM). The results showed that we could synthesize various conformation core-shell structure latex and control their conformation through changed ratio of core-shell monomer andselected different technology conditions and in the light of different requirements.
