The New Magnechuck Research And Design

A new type of magnechuck is designed in this paper. The main characteristics of the new type of .magnechuck are that the direction of the suction can shift with the magnetic leading board, the magnechuck has a great amount of ampere-turn and under the permitted temperature, the suction of the magnechuck can reach the maximum.The magnechuck is analyzed by the magnetic circuit calculation and the magnetic field calculation. The magnetic field is analyzed with the finite element method. The simulated magnetic field is calculated with the software of ANSYS and the distribution of the magnetic field is gained. Based on the calculation results of the magnetic circuit and magnetic field, the electromagnet is optimized with the punish function method.The magnechuck's power device is also studied in the paper. A new type of power device is given. This new type of magnechuck power device is controlled intellectively by Single-Chip microcomputer. The power device can also protect itself when overloaded.
