Abstract/Summary:
In this paper the catalyst Cu-ZSM-5, Me-Cu-ZSM-5 (Me=Ni, Co, Ce) and Ni-Ce-ZSM-5 were prepared by the means of ion exchange. Their activity for NO decomposition with oxygen-free and oxygen-rich feed gas was tested. The influence of preparation condition ion-exchanged condition pretreatment techniques, reaction condition and the second exchanged ions Men+ to activity of various catalysts were examined. The conclusion of studies is listed as follows: To Cu-ZSM-5 , temperature with the best activity temperature point in 550+ 10癈 and its activity decreases with the raising the GHSV and the concentration of oxygen. On the condition of 550 ± 10 ℃ 0.29±0.05g m-3of NO and GHSV=1350h-1 the NO conversion is 82.5% on the Cu-ZSM-5(3.55wt%Cu) catalyst. The catalyst modified by Ni2+ can increase the activity of catalyst, by Co2+ can decrease the best reaction temperature and by Ce3+ can strengthen the capability of oxygen resistance. It can be presumed that the surface reaction between two adsorbed NO molecules becomes rate-determining step by analyzing NO decomposition reaction kinetics on the Cu-ZSM-5.
