The removal of nitrogen monoxide (NO) is a serous problem need to solve. In the fie le of environmental. Direct decomposition of NO is the easiest way for NO decomposition. It is reported that Cu-ZSM-5 exhibit high NO decomposition activity, but there are some disadvantage for its application. This paper we investigate the NO decomposition activity of metal ion-exchange M-ZSM-5 zeolite(M=Cu,Mn,Fe,Ni,Co,Ag) with CaH2 as promoter. We found that after adds CaH2, the NO decomposition activity of Cu-ZSM-5 is improved, but the other metal exchanged ZSM-5 can mot improve the NO decomposition activity. At 550℃, in the O2 atmosphere(5.5%O2), the NO decomposition activity of Cu-ZSM-5/CaH2 has good stability. XRD suggest that, after add CaH2 in the Cu-ZSM-5, and through high temperature calcinated, there are CaCu2O3 inside the catalyst . TPD result indicate that add CaH2 increased the active site. XPS result indicate that add perhaps go into the ZSM-5 pores.
