The objective of this paper is to improve the efficiency of biological oxidation process in treating dyestuff wastewater .A series of methods that can improve the biodegradability of dyestuff wastewater were studied .The result shows compare to coagulation process facultative process and Fenton's reagent oxidation process ,the iron-carbon internal electrolysis is more efficient in reducing the Chemical Oxygen Demand (CODcr )and colority and in improving biodegradability of dyestuff wastewater; The combined treatment of iron-carbon internal electrolysis and fixation Photosynthetic Bacteria anaerobic process may effectively improve the biodegradability of dyestuff wastewater. Through iron-carbon internal electrolysis and Photosynthetic Bacteria anaerobic process, the effluent can be degraded easily by aerobic process .The removal efficiency of CODcr of aerobic process is above 75%, the CODcr of aerobic process effluent has reduced to 187mg/l.
