Electroplusing is a novel technology aiming at the improvement of both metal mechanical properties and the energy efficiency, and some remarkable progress has been achieved by this promising technique in various research fields. In this paper, the electropulsing was employed in refining the grain size of solid materials. Advantage of ultra-speed of electropulsing healing augmented the ratio of nucleation, and quick-spray of cooling controlled the growth of grains. DT4, 20, 25Cr2MoV, 07 and GCr15 steel were processed under electropulsing, and the mechanical properties and micrbstructure of these materials were studied. The results showed that the grain size of these materials could be greatly refined by the treatment The martensite grain size of 07 steel was between 80nm and 100nm, and the ferrite grain size was about 200nm by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) observatioa The experiment also showed that the mechanical properties of 07 steel has been improved.
