The photocatalytic degradation of hexavalent chrome (Cr6+) in TiO2 nanometer powder suspention irradiated respectively by middle pressure mercury lamp and rays of the sun. The results showed that there is an optimal quantity of the addition of TiC>2 and the acidity of the reaction system ; Mental ion, CN" ion, organic materials and intensity of irradiation are strong functions of the photodegradation rate . And superficially draw a conclusion of the dynamic formula in the reaction . The influences of inclined angle 9 and circulation flow rate Q were discussed when the flat-plate was used in self-made multi-functional solar photocatalytic reactor . Then, the formulation of T, the total time of reacting particle in the all periods, was educed. Point out the different efficiency of Cr(VI) degradation between the flat-plate and the accordion-plate, and prove the feasibility of accordion-plate in photocatalytic reactor.
