The study on capability of decolorization of Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Trametes versicolor to dye wastewater and technology of embedment was carried out. The basic parameters of decolorization to Acid Fuchsin and Methylene blue using two kinds of white rot fungus were confirmed sepatately. The nitrogen limited medium adapting to Trametes versicolor was filtered and the optimal quantity of inoculation was ascertained. The effect on decolorization in accordance with different structure of dye was researched. These fungi can bear high concentration of dye to some extent. The effect of treatment is economical after decolorization in advance by dye of low concentration and high biodegradation according to time. Trametes versicolor has strong adaptability with pH of wastewater, holding stable high efficiency of decolorization in range of 2.5 to 10.5 according to pH . It suits to treat intermittent dye wastewater . These features above-mentioned have practical meaning in applying to engineering. The indexes of seven different kinds of system of embedment were compared and evaluated. In the meantime, the basic parameters of two kinds of elementary system of embedment were optimized. Different characteristics of two kinds of white rot fungus in embedment were groped for by experiments. Trametes versicolor adapts to low acidity in embedment, on the contrary, Phanerochaete chrysosporium adapts to high acidity. The vadility of conclusion was vadilated by decolorization of practical dye wastewater.
