The project discusses a digital research of welding machine based on xionggu electric company 's IGBT inverter CO2 protective power source of serial NB500. It is realized according to DSP and PID control algorithm and is beneficial to engineering applification. In project, using TMS320LF2407 designes the the main control circuit of IGBT inverter's digital power and using P89C58 designes the control interface circuit .It also devises the protective circuit. According to the process's analyse about CO2 protective welding fussion transition, it realizes the process control using PID algorithm. It is validated on the spot jointing and leads to a good performance. The main circuit and control circuit of welding machine is designed by adopting reliable and anti-interference technology,namely,analyzing the reasons of interference and taking software and hardware anti-interferece measures to ensure system works well during the process of programming, skeleton diagram and PCB design. In the experiment, we analyze the different components of welding machine power, record related data or waveform and obtain the initial result showing that the main circuit responds quickly and hardware circuit is reliable with good anti-interference ablity which do meet the primary demands.
