With the rapid development of technology and the improvement of the living of people, the composite materials are widely used and their safety are concerned furtherly. Though the classical halide fire retarding agents have special performance, most of them give out heavy smoke with poisonous gas when burning. Going with the tide of no halogen and greenproduct ,the flame retardants are making progress towards avirulence, light smoke and high thermal stability in the next years. As one of the materials ,the reactive flame retardants have nonmigratory, durable performance, insulate thermal, inhaibit smoke and so on. In the course of burning ,the molten drops can be avoided also. Now the series of phosphinic acid were laid stress on for the stability, water tolerance and solvent resistance. German has applied it in practical production. But it is on the scratch in our country. The article synthesized through simple technology with white phosphorus as feed stock. The optimal rate of meterial, reaction temperature, the quantity of the catalyst and reaction time were confirmed on the basic of perpendicularity experiments .The effect of respectively factor was discussed. The product was analysed by IR and NMR spectrum.Propanoic acid, 3-(hydroxyphenylphosphinyl)-, 2-hydroxyethyl ester was used directly in PET which was not in the news. The paper adopted the technology in which the glycol was superfluous. The content of P was analyzed. Export commodity accepted mass detection by S&K POLYTEC CO. This technology has successfully applied in practical production with the output of 400t peryear. The article also introduced the new technology of TCEP.Finally, their application in nylon,PET were respectively introduced.
