Amino acid is an important component of protein, and has special function to maintain life metabolism. Although the quantities of trace elements are very small, they play important function on life growth and metabolism. Trace elements cannot be synthesized in human body and can only be absorbed from food by human body. So synthesizing the complex of amino acid with trace elements has become the study hotspot. Now there are lots of reports on the application research of the complexes and rare researches on the structure and function of the complexes.The research in this study adopts the solvothermal to synthesize the complex and a new complex has been produced. The IR spectral analysis shows that the new complex is composed of carboxyl and perchloric acid root. CD spectral shows crystallographically there is no symmetrical center structure in this new one. Electron probe shows it has cobalt and chloride. X-ray diffraction analysis shows the complex is cobalt phenanthroline oxalic acid. The crystal structure is monoclinic with space group Cm and cell dimensions a=1.6319(4)nm, b=1.5498(4)nm, c=1.1541 (3)nm, β =116.159(5)° . The molecular formula is C51H28O4N8CH3OHClO4Co2 and Z=2. In the structure 2 oxygen and 4 nitrogen atoms surround the cobalt atom and there are 3 quinquangular rings composed of Co and C, N or 0 atoms. Co-0 bonds are between 0.2118 and 0.2073 nm, Co-N bonds are between 0.2093 and 0.2144 nm. In the structure cobalt phenanthroline oxalic acid molecules range in parallel with b, and form layers perpendicular to c with perchloric acid roots and methanol molecules between the layers.In the research the crystal of calcium tartaric acid is synthesized and the structure determination shows it is orthorhombic with space group P212121 and cell dimensions a=0.92146 (10) nm, b=0.96191 (11) nm, c=1.05625 (12) nm, V=0.93622 (18)nm3; molecular formula: CaC4H4O6.4H2O, Z=4.
