People' industry and living activities consume a lot of resources and energy and bring much waste gas, waste water and waste solids, which have done much harm to the environment, material manufacture is one of the major activities, that have had effect on circumstance .In recent years, people have began to evaluate the materials research and utilization again in the view of lasting development.With the advantages of high specific strength, high specific modulus, high wear resistence, high thermal and electric conductivity and low coefficience of thermal expansion as well as designed structures, metal matrix composites play an important role in this field.Attempts have been made to fabricate the materials, which have good fracture and do little harm to the environment. There are many waste glass, waste aluminum alloy in our country, for example, the waste aluminum cans, if these waste materials can be reused to produce green materials, it will have good social aad economic benefit.In this research, a new type of green materials has been fabricated by using waste glass and waste aluminum alloy. This new type of green recycling materials has the both advantages of aluminum and reinforcement particles (glass). It has good hardness as well as possessing ductility, in other hand, the fabricating technology of this materials is very simple. So the value of the waste resource has been increased. Fabricating aluminum-glass composite by stirring cast is simple and low-cost .in this paper, proper fabricating process is chosen based on the experiment and the theory analyses of fabricating aluminum-glass composite by stirring technique, then aluminum-glass composite is obtained.Partial mechanical properties and wearability of the composite are tested. Associating with the microstructure and fracture structure, the factors to affect the properties is analyzed.
