Kiln Calcined Petroleum Coke Process Analysis And Technological Innovation,

The existing situation of coke calcining by rotary kiln is introduced in detail in this paper according to practical production experiences, including raw material petroleum coke, process, rotary kiln, calcined coke quality and indexes of technology and economy. Besides, the problems existing in calcining process are pointed out and the behavior and physical-chemical changes of material during it are revealed. The study contents and results are as follow:The factors effecting the service life of rotary kiln are analyzed, and measures to increase it's service life are proposed. The situation of force acting on material inside the kiln is examined, based on which the author's different view about the way of the material movement as well as a formula calculating the material residing time is put forwarded. The factors effecting calcining belt, which is the core for control of calcining process, are analyzed theoretically and practically, leading to the concept of "three key elements" i, e temperature, length and position of calcining belt. How those three elements affecting the qualities of calcined coke is thoroughly examined, and how to select proper process parameters for calcining belt is discussed. Technology standard of the three key elements for calcining belt is also given. Along with practical experiences, several key points concerning control and adjustment of calcining belt are stressed. Besides the factors related with the yield rate and the way to enhance it are showed. Meanwhile, the reform scheme aimed to solve existing problems in calcining, including increasing service life of secondary blower pipe for more efficient combustion of fuel, on-line monitor of temperature calcining belt are brought forward. Some technology reform already completed is introduced with their implementing method, mechanism and the result, such as the reform of combustion room, feeding draft system. At last, there is a summary for the paper and the foreground of production technology for calcining coke of rotary kiln is forecasted.
