Vinyl ethers are useful compounds. The improvements in the manufacture of vinyl ethers, more particularly to improvements in the manufacture of vinyl ethers by vinylation of lower aliphatic alcohols with acetylene are reviewed. The processes are very simple, relatively cheap, cause little pollution. The technique suited to industry.The potassium salt often act as catalysts, it forms from isobutyl alcohol and potassium hydroxide. The product is yield up to 97%.Then two of these methods including the process under atmospheric condition and obtain from high pressure. Three principal problems exist in the reaction which carried out under atmospheric conditions: solubility of catalyst, high temperature and system instability.The examples presented described how resolve them at high pressures. From the characteristics of course, both catalyst and reaction vessel are studied, emphasized on relational condition.Azeotropic distillations provide a convenient means of separation in the industry. Content of material products generally have in excess of 98%, so the course of distillation play an important role in the use. A process for separating a vinyl alkyl ether or unsaturated ether is carried out preferably in a distilling apparatus. The relation between operating condition and different extractant as well as the other design is also discussed.The result obtained are not only evaluating composition design behavior properly but also pointing out the direction to further optimum design in order to gain high yield.
