This paper summarized the source and treatment technology of wastewater containing fluoride, and chemical sedimentation process conducted for the integrate electronic alkaline wastewater containing fluoride with low concentration. The study include: (1) The treatment technology and development of wastewater containing fluoride;(2) Study on simply sedimentation process with only calcium hydroxide added;(3) Study on simply sedimentation process with only calcium chloride added;(4) Study on coagulate sedimentation process for treating wastewater containing fluoride;(5) design and running of chemical sedimentation treatment on wastewater containing fluoride.The experimental results showed that: (1) When sedimentation process was adopted, for the calcium compound added, calcium hydroxide is more effective than calcium chloride. When the dose of calcium hydroxide was 200%, which was the key factor, the treatment was the most efficient. (2) Technologically, it was feasible to treat wastewater with the process of calcium hydroxide + PFC + PAM or calcium hydroxide + Heldy-F+ PAM, and the latter was more efficient. (3) The factor of the process were reactive pH, the dose of calcium compound, the kind and dose of coagulate chemical, the kind and dose of coagulate chemical, and the hydraulic retention time. (4) The fluoric concentration of the effluent was about 5.5mg/L, coagulate sedimentation process could enhance the reduction of the fluoride in the effluent, which was meet the requirement of second-degree standard in 《integrate emission regulations for wastewater(DB31/199-1997)》 .
