| In China,rapeseed oil is a kind of cheap material with abundant resource and the component of erucin acid in Chinese rapeseed oil are much higher than those of foreign products.The erucin acid has the good hydrophobic property and lubricating ability which is the important property to the material of fatliquor.In fatliquor ,some polymer contain carboxy group can endow the leather special property,especially in enhancing the leather's tensile strength,fullness and the uniformity property of the color and luster.The grafting of maleic anhydride onto rape oil which make hydrophilic radical be grafted onto rape oil and the hydrophilic radical enhance the oil's emulsification capability.In this paper,on the basis content of grafting maleic anhydride onto rapeseed oil,at first the way of free radical terpolymerization of two monomers was adopted. The operating conditions were studied and ensured by monofactorial experiment and the results of grafted maleic anhydride and iodine value: AIBN was used to initiate the free radical grafted copolymerization, the dosage of initiator was about 3%(mass percent), reaction temperature was about 90℃,the time was 3 hour, the dosage of anti gel agent is 0.1(the radio to initiator), stirring speed was 800rpm.It was found that the hydrophilicity of the product was bad by examining the latex's stability.Because the product's hydrophilicity of grafting maleic anhydride onto rapeseed oil was bad ,so the third monomer styrene was added to increase the grafting quantity of maleic anhydride.The operating conditions were studied and ensured by monofactorial experiment as follows:reaction temperature was about 90℃, the dosage of initiator was about 2.5%(mass percent), the dosage of anti gel agent was 0.1(the radio to initiator),the dosage of styrene was 7% and dribbled it at 1mL/10min, the dosage of maleic anhydride was about 24%.The IR and DSC thermograms was chosen to analysis the product.It was found that maleic anhydride had been grafted onto rapeseed oil. |
