Alkynation and hydrogenation, which are important green synthesis reactions in the substitute Grignard reacton and hydrolyzation reaction for increasing carbon atoms, are developed in recent years. Alkynation and hydrogenation are becoming more and more important to meet the demands of environment protection and successful development in chemical area.Linalool which is an important intermediate for synthesis of vitamine A and vitamin E is researched only in recent years in our country. In the paper, hydrolyzation of alkyne and dehydrolinalool had been researched using Raney -Ni as catalyst, including catalyst preparation, reaction conditons, the effects of organic addition compounds, reaction kinetics and the recycling of catalyst. The experimental results showed that under low polar solvent ,selected conditions as following: ethyl acetate as solvent, reaction temperature of 30℃, hydrogen pressure 0.3MPa, Raney-Ni as catalyst which prepared in pH=7.0 and controlling conversion of 3-hydroxy-3-methyl-butene is 50-60%, the selectivity is higher (93.17%).The experimented results showed that under low polar solvent, selected conditions as following: ethyl acetate as solvent, reaction temperature of 30℃, hydrogen pressure 0.3MPa, Raney-Ni as catalyst which prepared in pH=7.0 and controlling conversion of dehydrolinalool is 50-60%, the selectivity is higher (93.57%).The macro-reaction kinetics equations of dehydrolinalool hydrogenation using type W-3 Raney-Ni catalyst in ethyl acetate solvent were present as following:-dC_DeHLA/dt=22026exp(-35.949/RT) C_DeHLA P_H2dC_DiHLA/dt=66.69exp(-126.522/RT) P_H2~2 5dC_LA/dt=22026exp(-35.949/RT) C_DeHLAP_H2-66.69exp(-126.522/RT) P_H2~2 5The further comprehension about the property of the reaction property of Raney-Ni catalyst in the process of was obtained. It is a base for the application of Raney-Ni catalyst to hydrogenation of dehydrolinalool in the future.
