A kind of multi-doped gel was prepared using chemicals as follows tin-tetrachloride, antimony-trichloride, crystal aluminum nitrate, ethanol, and de-ionized water. The gel was spread on the surface of glass flake samples as well as the surface of ceramic flake samples. Then, appropriately designed heat treatments were processed, and the multi-doped tin dioxide conductive films were prepared. The two kinds of films have a favorable combination with both types of base.The fabricating techniques of the glass base film were researched. The baking temperature should be controlled among the range of 500 ~ 550 ℃ to get fine transparent film. The antimony atom content in the initial reactant should be controlled between 6 ~ 9 % to lower film resistance. The heat holding time for film baking should be controlled between 30 ~ 60 minutes.The fabricating techniques of the ceramic base film were researched, too. The baking temperature should be controlled between 450 ~ 500 ℃ to get fine film appearance. The antimony atom content in the initial reactant should be controlled between 3 to 12 % to get low film resistance. The heat holding time for baking should be controlled between 30 to 60 minutes.SEM was used to observe the surface morphology of the two kinds of film. The glass base film was found has a compact configuration, and has no cavities observed. The film particles were sphere like and had a symmetrical dimension about 1 micron. The ceramic base film was found has a compact configuration, and has no cavities basically. Most of the film particles have a polyhedral appearance with flowing edges and corners. The ceramic base particles dimension was found between 50 to 400 nanometers.XRD was used to analyze the crystallization condition of the two kind of film. The glass base film has a favorable crystallization as well as the ceramic base film. Alpha-200 superficial figure instrument was used to measure the glass base film thickness, and found about 1 micron. WS-2004 coating coherence force instrument was used to survey the coherence force of the two kinds of film with their base, respectively. Both types of film were found have a fine coherence with their base. Bio-Rad HL 5500 Hall testing system was use to scale the square resistance of the two kinds of film, and both were found have a well conductive performance with a low square resistance. Antimony atom content holds an important function in regulating the resistance of the glass base film, but little influence in regulating the resistance of the ceramic base film.
