Radon Measurement Method And Applications In The Environmental Testing

The measurement methods of radon and its daughters has become a popular topic. The measurement is a complicated problem referred to the field of nuclear technology, electronic technology, computer technology, earth science, environment science, and so on.The dissertation starts with the energy spectrum measurement of radon and its daughters. It uses the environmental radon measurement instrument, KZ-D02D, as the experiment instrument, and combines its actual work characteristic. Aiming at the deficiency of this instrument in radon measurement, an improving scheme is present from the view of solving the polluted detector of high density field instrument, after we studied the measurement method of radon and its daughters. And the dissertation introduces the comprehensive work circumstances that it was used actual measurement in open country.In this dissertation, the research of the measurement method of radon, the evaluation of radon detection in the campus, and the geological evaluation of the radioactive environment of nuclear establishment is discussed in detail. This method centering on solving the detector pollution of high concentration field instrument improves the method of data acquisition in open country by using the law of radioactive disintegration and statistic theory of error transfer. On this basis, the program of the instrument is also improved. Experiments show that this method can avoid the pollution. In the actual measurement of the detection of campus radon environment and the geologic evaluation of radioactive environment in rice seedlings fields, right test results are achieved by using the improved instrument. This proves that the method can eliminate pollution, improve test efficiency, and meet the test requirement in open country.
