Zeolite called M.S is kind of inoganic crystal, which allows design of catalytic properties such as crystal structure, pore size and Si/Al ratio. Zeolite catalyst has been widely applied in the field of petrol and petrochemical industry for its more advantages on easy separation and recycle, few side reactions, easy work-up, easy obtainment, no pollution and so on, than the catalyst of Bronsted acid and Lewis acid. Meanwhile, because of its strength of pore size, hydrophobicity, acid sites, and their distribution, zeolite catalyst has also been applied in fine chemicals,material science, organic synthesis.Greater than 75% of drugs and drug candidates incorporate amine functionality. Nonetheless, the asymmetric synthesis of amines is much less developed than the asymmetric synthesis of other common functional groups. Meantime, the imine for nucleophilic addition is a expedient ethods. Thus, the corresponding sulfinimines have become the focus of increasing attention as the important inter-mediates for the asymmetric synthesis of drugs.In these paper, first, the chiral Schiff base ligand is applied for catalytic asymmetric oxidation of tert-butyl disulfide with VO(acac)2 to synthesize chiral tert-butyl tert-butanethiosulfinate. Second, addition of lithium amide in ammonia to thiosulfinate provides tert-butanesulfinamide. Finally, after zeolite catalyst optimization, a number of different chiral tert-butanesulfinimines could be obtained from tert-butanesulfinamide with aldehydes by the straightforward preparation.On the other hand, we explored-a one-pot method for the Preparation of N-tosylimines by direct condensation of N-tosylamine with aldehydes in high yields in the presence of zeolite.
