Automatic Welding Machine Motion Control Algorithm And Software System Development

The realization of modern automatic welding mainly depends on the computer control technology. On the basis of this, it accomplished the design of software system of automatic welding equipment. The work in the study mainly includes that building the model of complex space curve, the formation of servo-control algorithm, the automatic programming, the editing and compiling of NC code and the dynamic simulation of welding process. On the basis of these, the operating software which has friendly interface is constructed using Delphi, it takes modularized method to design the software system, so it is easy to debug and integrate.For the technology of computer simulation and automatic programming, it is important to establish a mathematical model which can characterize the real system accurately and felicitously. In the thesis, it takes the intersection cylinders for example and sets up the mathematical model of five shaft linkage system. On the basis of this, it uses small space liner portion to approximate space curve under the constraint of welding accuracy and derives the prearranged step real-time interpolation method which can calculate the translational value and rotational value on five axes of spatial coordinate system during the permanent-interpolation period.According to the servo control algorithm and the welding parameters that should be input from user interface, the welding NC program can be generated automatically. Before the simulation and the actual working, it should verify the correctness of NC code firstly, the verification mainly be done in two sides, that is accidence and syntax.In the system, it uses OpenGL to simulate the motor track of workbench and welding gun. With the dynamic simulation, it can check the correctness of servo control algorithm and NC code, or find out other error information, such as the collision of welding gun and work piece. The simulation provides reference in solving the problems that may be found in the design, manufacture and operation course of the automatic welding equipment, it also can avoid some possible accident and unnecessary loss that...
