Triazophos is a kind of phosphorus pesticides and had been created in the 1970s with high efficiency and low toxicity. It is used as pesticide to treat the plant diseases caused by wireworms.In this paper, the study of preparation for triazophos and relative intermediates 1-isopropylhydrazine, N-chlorocarbonylisocyanide dichloride and (E)-N-aminochloro-(1-hydroxyvinyl)-N-isopropylformamidine are emphatically discussed. The intermediates 1-isopropylhydrazine, N-chlorocarbonylisocyanide dichloride and (E)-N-aminochloro-(1-hydroxyvinyl)-N-isopropylformamidine aresynthesized and their structures are characterized.By reading a lot of literatures, three methods are elaborated for the sythesis of triazophos. Hydrazine hydrate is the row material, 1-isopropylhydrazine is prepared by two different routes. N-chlorocarbonylisocyanide dichloride is prepared by methyl carbamic chloride as the row material. (E)-N-aminochloro-(1-hydroxyvinyl)-N -isopropylformamidine is prepared by 1-isopropylhydrazine and N-chlorocarbonylisocyanide dichloride. The excellent technological processes are obtained.In the experiments, several methods have been improved. In the process of preparation for 1-isopropylhydrazine, the catalyst LiA1H4 has been replaced by Pd/C, and the amount of NaOH has been increased. In the process of preparation for N-chlorocarbonylisocyanide dichloride, an original solvent has been used. In the process of preparation for (E)-N-aminochloro-(l-hydroxyvinyl)-N-isopropylformamidine, the organic solvent has been replaced by water. These methods can improved the yield, and the results of the experiments provide scientific basis for industrial production for triazophos.
