And Differential Thermal Analysis method and closed bomb test were used to research the variety of the combustion property. Adding some compounds in the composition of a propellant as catalysts, the results showed that samples with different additives, the variety of the propellant's combustion property is different from each other.The Differential Thermal Analysis method was used to research the thermal decomposition property of the propellants with different additives .And the affection of the additives will be reflected by analyzing on chemical kinetics standpoint. The regularity of the catalyst's affection to the thermal decomposition can assess the additive's catalysis to the combustion process previously.In the closed bomb test, studies were done on the burning rate pressure exponent. Variety of the burning rate pressure exponent will give expression to the additive's catalysis to the propellant's combustion.The consequence of the experiment showed that most of the materials added to the propellants in the test catalyzed the combustion process. They caused the descending of the burning rate exponent.
