Low Temperature Curing Modified Epoxy Polyurethane Membrane Primer

In this paper we introduce the market and the development of the coil coatings. The types of the primer and characters of them, and the used resin, pigment, solvent and additive etc all presented in the paper. We also give a review of how to prepare, how to finishing, and the technical process, testing items of coil coatings primer.According the requirement of domestic market, and the situation of domestic materials and coater lines, we research a lower temperature curing modified epoxy resin polyurethane coil coatings primer. We compared the different epoxies and modifing additives, and choosed the suitable one to synthesize a modified epoxy resin, which have good flexible and active. We compared the different polyurethanes and blocking additives, and choosed the suitable one to synthesize a resin, which unblock at the lower temperature. At last we tested the new primer and the primer buyed from the market, the primer from the paper has a better performance, it meet the market need.
