Qujing Cigarette Factory Fire Alarm System Communication Protocol Analysis And Research

Automatic fire alarm system in fire prevention, has played a significant role, along with the popularity of such systems, networking monitoring needs is also gradually becoming apparent. As the absence of standards , The protocols of communication between fire alarm mainframe and control workstations have brought tremendous obstacles. Fire warning for the development of fire warning networked control system, the analysis of communication protocol is a key link. The research on communication protocols between fire alarm system host and crt can accelerate the process of standardization in fire control industry. It also has the positive significance on the development of fire control host and fire control network monitor system.This paper shows the technical principle and the analysis process of the protocols used by the eight systems coming from different vendor. Basing on the research, this paper put forward a solution which can deduce the protocols used by these systems by the means of analyze, compare and verify the data packets. These data packet can be intercepted by sniffer or transparent forward which does not interfere these systems' normal operation. This paper uses a tool developed under Delphi 7.0 . The tools can be used in "serial communication protocol analysis" and "network communication protocol analysis".
