Conditioning cylinder occupies a very important position in the streamline of tobacco threshing, the quality of leaf wetting directly influences the tobacco output and the economic benefit of the tobacco-threshing corporation. However, the conditioning cylinder is very nonlinear, time lagging a lot, with many interferential factors and prodigiously inertial, at present, the method of scale and PID control can't realize the efficient control of the conditioning cylinder in our country.Being a control method based on the rules, fuzzy control can realize the control with summarizing the experiences from the skilled workers and experts while without precise math model. Directed at the properties of conditioning cylinder, using fuzzy control can realize the controlled target well.Though the conditioning cylinder control is a very complex system, it still has the probability of being controlled. This paper makes analysis on the probability of being controlled to supply direct and reference for scheme design.There are many factors can influence the exit tobacco moisture of the conditioning cylinder, using feedforward-feedback control loop and making the important interferential factors (the flux and moist of the tobacco into the conditioning cylinder) as the inputs of the feedforward compensator, with rules consequence and decision-making, supplying feedforward compensate to the control system to improve the timely property of the system. Inputting the windage and windage change of the moist to be a close loop realizes the steady control of the moist.The time constant of the temperature is very long, using cascade fuzzy control loop, forcing the factors that can influence the exit tobacco temperature greatly on the assistant adjusting loop, can improve the stability and response speed of the system.This paper applies the fuzzy control theory in the conditioning cylinder for the first time, and adopts the feedforward +feedback fuzzy control loop and cascade fuzzy control loop to realize the moist and temperature control. The method, which getting the sample from a segment average and the value which could reflects the state change, can enhance the stability and the anti-jamming ability of the system.The system finishes the hardware integration with the DCS structure, and uses UMC800 torealize main control programmer while uses Kingsoft 6.5 to realize picture configuration, then use touching panel computer to realize supervising control.To analyze the datum from the industrial test and production assess, we could find the quality of leaf wetting improves evidently when the system is used. This shows that using fuzzy control theory to realize the control of conditioning cylinder is available and could get good effect.
