It was reported in this paper that the experiment results of the Bacillus laterosporus BL-21 included its degradating properties and conditions with organophosphorus pesticides, the degradating enzyme distribution and purification, the relationship between the degradation characteristics with its plasmids, the pathway of degradation ispcarbophos etc.The study on the properties of the strain BL-21 for degradating organophosphorus pesticide showed that the strain BL-21 had broad-spectrum degradability, especially for degradating isocarbophos, the degradation rate was up to 40%-50%. The strain BL-21 could tolerate high concentration of 5mg/L isocarbophos with inorganophosphate medium. The degradating process of isocarbophos took on fluctuating and the trend was related to the growth curve of the strain BL-21.The results indicated that the optimum medium were composed of Sucrose 1.5%, ammonium bicarbonate0.06%, and sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium sulphate0.03%,while ferrous sulfate heptahydrate, manganese sulfate hydrate0.003%.The optimum culture conditions of shake-flask were temperature 30℃, pH7, agitation speed 200r/min, inoculum size 10 %,volume of 250 mL flask 30 mL. Moreover tritonX-100 could facilitate the degrdating ability of strain BL-21, while metal iron could not.The enzyme distribution experiment suggested that the isocarbophos hydrolase of strain BL-21 was a kind of constitutive endoenzyme for its activity didn't need induce. The enzyme had been purified and its molecular weight was about 28KD. The result of studies on the plasmid of strain BL-21...
