As the industry ever-developing that water resource has been polluted seriously, especially the industrial wastewater. The iron carbon inner- electrolysis processing industrial wastewater is a pratical technology of the "using waste treat waste". It has been used treatment of the wastewater of dyeing, petroleum chemical industry, electroplating and pharmaceutical etc. This assay is on the effects study of inner-electrolysis that uses the civilian coke as cathode material treats the simulated phenolic wastewater and zidovudine pharmaceutical wastewater. The article made the following studies:(1) Research on the influence of some factors on phenolic wastewater pretreatment effectiveness with orthogonal optimizing experiment. Influence factors as the iron quantity, the weight ratio of iron and carbon, reaction time and PH value were chosen and the efectiveness of pretreatment was evaluated using the concentration of phenol. The results showed that effecting orders was the weight ratio of iron and carbon, retention time, iron quantity and pH value.(2)It was studied such as the iron quantity, the weight ratio of iron and carbon, iron partied size, carbon partied size and pH in the phenolic wastewater single factor experiment. The result shows that when the iron quantity was 120-200g/l, the weight ratio of iron and carbon was 1/3—1/4, iron partied size was 8mesh, carbon partied size was 16mesh,the removal of phenol can reach more than 70%.(3) The removal efficiency research of the zidovudine pharmaceutical wastewater by the iron quantity, iron partide size, PH value and reaction time. The results show that when iron quantity was 60g/l, iron partide size was 60mesh, pH value of 7, reaction time was 120 minutes, the removal efficiency of COD could reach more than 70%.(4) The treatment effectiveness compare of iron carbon inner-electrolysis process with iron copper inner-electrolysis treating Phenolic wastewater.
