The sulphur content of the our country coal is higher, the high sulphur coal of the southwest region attain to more than 2/3, the technology on removal of industry waste-gas SO2 is inevitable. But in alumina production, production of 1 ton alumina will produce about 0. 71. 4 ton red mud, several big aluminum factories of our country produce about ten million ton of red mud annually.
