Cucurbituril a molecular container (or host) has a rigid hollow interior cavity which is large enough to accommodate , one or more, smaller molecules (or guest). Generally the formation of the host-guest complex is stabilized by force such as hydrogen bonding, ion-dipole interactions , hydrophobic forces and Van der waals contact energies. They can be applied as function materials. We can study their host-guest reaction by using UV spectroscopy, fluorescence spectrophotometry and 1H NMR technique . To let cucurbiturils to practical application we designed and synthesis of the desired substituted cucurbiturils.In this paper, we studented the influences that coexisting ion to the interaction between cucurbit[8]urils, 1,10-phenanthrolines and some methyl substituted 1,10- phenanthrolines derivatives by using UV spectroscopy. Including NaOH, HCl, Na2SO4, Na2HPO4, Na3PO4, Na2B4O7, NaNO3, Na2CO3, MgCl2, SrCl2, CaCl2, BaCl2, AlCl3, LiCl; NH4HCO3, CH3COONH4, (NH4)2SO4, NH4HSO4,NH4NO3,NH4Cl. The results showed that the stability of the inclusion complexes is related to the pH of solution: the inclusion complexes of Q[8] and g1, g2, g3, g4 composed at pH < 6.0, interaction ratios of Q[8] with the three guest were 1 : 2(host to guest), and the inclusion complexes of Q[8] and g1, g2, g3, g4 decomposed completely at pH>10.0.The strong acid-alkalescence salt hydrolyzing make the solution show weak acidity, the inclusion complexes of Q[8] and g1, g2, g3, g4 formed stable host-guest supermolecular. The solution show alkali when the weak acid-alkali salt hydrolyze. It bring the Q[8] and g1, g2, g3, g4 decomposed .Cucurbituril has the low solubility in water . It restrict the application of Cucurbituril .To get ameltiorative capability of the Cucurbituril to dissolve many workers of chemistry synthesized a series of substituted Cucurbituril. In this paper we have designed and synthesized a series of substituted glycolurils, meantime , we synthesized a substituted Cucurbituril that has well dissolve in water. The resultants...
