Appliances Development And Application Of Polymeric Mdi

MDI is very important raw material in polyurethane industry.There are six companies having the producing techniques in the world,and Yantai Wanhua is the only one at home. The strictest demand in the field of application of PMDI is the rigid foam used in the insulating of household appliances like refrigerator. This article is the first to report about developing the technology of PMDI used in the insolution of household appliances by systemly studying the relationship between constitute and performance. The PMDI studyed in this article is proven that it can be used in the insolution of household appliances instead of importing through market.The article consists of the following sections:一, Study on the relationship between the constitute and performance of PMDI;二, Study on the process of producing PMDI;三, Research in applying of PMDI used in household appliances.First,we study the constitute of PMDI used in household appliances by studying the influence of the constitute of PMDI in foaming performance.Then, according to the systemly studying in the process of PMDI, we find that the process of preparating DAM by the condensating of anilin and HCHO controls the constitute of DAM and PMDI.The process of phosgenating of DAM is the key process about the quality of PMDI, and the phosgenation yield is the key factor.Finally,we evaluate the developed PMDI.The result indicates that the developed PMDI can be used in the insulation of household appliances.
