We analyzed across-the-board the character of diversiform de-arsenic catalysts and the content of arsenic in propylene of our company. We thought the RAS998 and its relevant technics is befitting to our equipment.The fact has made sure the RAS998 and its relevant technics satisfy our request of removal of arsenic from propylene. After investigating of performance of de-arsenic catalyst we deem there are several reason for arsenic superscale in purificatory propylene: High arsenic-content in material propylene; Great fluctuation of arsenic content; Substandard desulfurization technics.For eligible purified propylene we think it is necessary that enhanced desulfurization technics and the content of arsenic limited in a small bound by mixing low arsenic-content and high arsenic-content material.We found that the RAS998 is a Cu-Zn-Al-based de-arsenic catalyst by XRD and SEM. The framework change and content of Cu and Al on the catalyst's surface decline after using to de-arsenic what we think is the main reason to reduce the performance of de-arsenic catalyst. This result provide practical data and theoretics for improving on de-arsenic catalyst and technics.
